I am a committed advocate for inclusive science education and knowledge sharing, with experience spanning research, academic leadership, and community engagement. As a first-generation scholar and scientist, I understand the barriers Black students and researchers face and am passionate about fostering pathways for success. I have organized interdisciplinary academic programming, contributed to EDI initiatives in research institutions, and worked on building decentralized innovation models to make science more accessible. Through my work across research, policy, and innovation spaces, I have developed programs that bridge scientific expertise with real-world impact. As Academic Program Director, I would work to create programming that supports the success of our community in academia, industry, non-profit, and government sectors, ensuring that Black scholars and professionals are empowered, visible, and equipped to lead across all fields.
