Keynote: Dr. Alemu Gonsamo. ‘Satellite remote sensing, terrestrial ecosystems and climate change’

- Dr. Alemu Gonsamo is a Canada Research Chair and an assistant professor of Remote Sensing at the School of Earth, Environment & Society in McMaster University since 2019. Alemu is Associate Director of McMaster Centre for Climate Change, Associate Editor of Journal of Geophysical Research and Editorial Board Member of Agricultural and Forest Meteorology. His research focuses on ground, airborne, and satellite remote sensing of vegetation from the leaf level to the global scale.
