DESCRIPTION:Determination and Discovery: Celebrating Black history and voices in STEMM\nCome celebrate the brilliance and help untangle the challenges of racialized communities in Science\, Technology\, Engineering\, Math\, and Medicine (STEMM)! \nThe event is open to racialized communities as well as allies from across the University of Calgary campus and beyond. \nDetermination and Discovery will feature: \n \n\na keynote from Dr. Terrell Morton\na talk by Dr. Ti’Era Worsley\npanels and dialogues about Black experiences in STEMM\na screening of Woman in Motion\nlunch and networking session\n\nDate: Thursday\, February\, 29\nTime: 10 AM – 4:30 p.m. (MT)\nLocation: MacEwan Hall Ballroom; 3rd Floor\, University of Calgary\nCost: Free\n\n\nStudents\, faculty\, and staff are welcome to drop in and out as their class schedules allow.
